Personal Training/Outdoor Fitness – Learn To Be a Trainer
There is no better time than this to be a fitness trainer because of the interest that people are showing in improving their health and their appearance. The lack of exercise combined with easy availability of rich food has caused certain countries to be affected with an obesity epidemic. People all over the world are realizing the importance of staying fit and they are willing to pay good money to a fitness trainer who can help them get into shape. However, there are many fitness trainers offering their service which makes it important for them to offer something unique that can really grab the attention of potential customers. If you are planning to be a fitness trainer then you should consider offering personal training / outdoor fitness.
Most people who have tried to get fit have at least one experience of a gym. If this experience has been a negative one then it is unlikely that they will come back for more. In fact, the biggest complaint of people who have difficulty losing weight is that they hate to exercise in a gym and are looking for a better option. The other common complaint of using a gym is that one invariably has to wait for a specific machine because there is someone else working on it. This makes them work on a machine they do not like or it wastes a lot of their time. There is a large population of people sharing these complaints which creates a lot of potential for you. You could offer them personal training / outdoor fitness as an attractive alternative to being in a boring gym.
There is great demand for personal training / outdoor fitness because it takes place right in the open air amidst greenery. People prefer working out in the open with a trainer because there is no question of breathing in stale air or using equipment that has been made sweaty by someone else. There is a special pleasure to be had from exercising out in the open under the blue skies and people are willing to pay a premium for this. They also get better attention from the trainer because the classes are usually individual or a very small group at the very least.
This could be a very lucrative business for you because you will not have to invest any money in equipment. Getting trained to become a personal training / outdoor fitness instructor will include learning exercises that can be done on existing infrastructure such as swing sets, bleachers, stairs, steps, monkey bars and open spaces. You will not even have to spend money on renting an establishment. You can choose to have a single client at a time or a small group, with the price being fixed accordingly so that you are amply rewarded for your time. The best thing about this business is that you are the complete master of your time and effort since there is no question of you sharing your profit with a partner.
Personal Trainer: No Experience Necessary
I have read many articles like ” Before you hire a personal trainer read this ” then the
article goes on to give you different things to look for, and the #1 is certification, well
what everyone should know, is that anyone who can read a book and retain information
can become a certified personal trainer.
If you are fat you can become a trainer, if you smoke you can become a trainer,
if you are a boozer you can become a trainer.
So even though the a person has no previous experience- they can take an online test and
become certified to train you, what I want to know is this who you want training you?
Most people will become the trainers “test subjects” they have no real life experience,
they have no idea how to get someone into shape, so does it make more sense to have
some one certified or experienced training you ?
Go into almost any gym and you will see some bad trainers, also good trainers, but
the bad trainers out number the good trainers.
Personal trainers who don’t live what they teach should be ashamed of themselves if they can’t take control of their own life, how can they motivate you to better life.
If these trainers want to change peoples lives they should live this way too.
I personally seen people get certified that were fat, even seen one guy who could not
even balance himself on one foot, yet they were certified as personal trainers- CRAZY.
Basically what I’m saying is certification isn’t always the answer, experience can go along
way, if you find the right person.
Personal Trainer: Boxing And Kick-Boxing
What a better way to get in shape than to do boxing moves and kick-boxing moves under the instruction and supervision of your personal trainer? Your personal trainer knows the right boxing moves and exercises to help you lose weight and to get your body in excellent shape.
One of the most famous American boxers was Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali was known as the greatest boxer of all time. He was born on January 17, 1942, and he was a three-time World Heavyweight Champion. In his early years, Muhammad Ali won a gold medal in the light heavyweight division at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome (Wikipedia.org, 2010).
Boxing and kick-boxing moves are a great way to get fit, get strong, and develop stamina. As your personal trainer guides you through your boxing exercise routines, you will find yourself feeling stronger and more physically fit. You will find that boxing and kick-boxing is a vigorous workout, and you need the encouragement and support of your personal trainer to keep up your motivation.
When looking at the body of the boxer Muhammad Ali, you will admire what great shape he was in. His upper body looks like a fortress with strong muscles, excellent form, strong abs, strong chest, etc. It is interesting to note that the earliest beginning of Muhammed Ali’s boxing career was started in his youth through his desire not to be bullied. The story goes that when Muhammad Ali was 12 years old, in 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky, that his bike was stolen while he and a friend were at the Columbia Auditorium. Young Muhammad Ali found a policeman in a gym, Joe Martin, and told Martin that he was going to “whup” whoever stole his bike. Martin wisely told Muhammad Ali, “You better learn to box first”. And needless to say, the 12-year-old Muhammad Ali, within weeks, had his first boxing fight and his first win. And from then on, the boxing career of Muhammed Ali was in motion. The main thing to keep in mind was that Muhammad Ali had to work hard to get the physically fit body that he obtained through training.
And you, too, through the physical training help of your personal trainer, can become stronger and lose weight by doing boxing and kick-boxing moves.
Another boxer that comes to mind is the actor Sylvester Stallone. If you want a body as firm and strong and powerful-looking as that of Sylvester Stallone, then you need a personal trainer to help you get into shape through boxing and kick-boxing exercise routines.
Sylvester Stallone played “Rocky Balboa” in the 1976 boxing film, titled “Rocky”. In fact, Sylvester Stallone was not only the lead actor in the film “Rocky”, but Sylvester Stallone also wrote the script and was inspired to write this script after seeing the Muhammad Ali fight against Chuck Wepner on March 24, 1975. Sylvestor Stallone’s boxing training and courage and boxing matches portrayed in the movie were so outstanding, that the film “Rocky” was nominated for ten Academy Awards. Rocky won the Best Picture, Best Directing, Best Production, and Best Editing Academy Awards, which goes to show that boxing and fitness as portrayed in this film, was highly praised.
When your personal trainer helps you to stay motivated in a fitness session, you will find that you can stay on track easier and achieve your fitness goals with more consistency.
Another interesting example of boxing and how a boxer can get physically fit is the Martin Scorsese film, “Raging Bull”. In the film “Raging Bull”, Robert DeNiro did an excellent job in playing a boxer and illustrating how your life can change positively by exercising through boxing.
Boxing and kick-boxing exercises under the instruction of your personal trainer is the fastest, most proficient way, to lose weight and to stay healthy.
